  Chennai - Monday, March 26, 2007: MyTVS, the customer centric car services business of TVS & Sons, felicitated the winners of their 'Service Bonanza Campaign' at a glittering function held at Coimbatore on 24th March. Two winners from Chennai, P.S.Ashok from Nelson Manickam Road and Mr. Mahendra Tikmani from Ekkattuthangal won the second prize and walked away with LG-Microwave Owens.

A month-long Service Bonanza Campaign was initiated by MyTVS across Tamil Nadu on February 9, 2007 as a part of their celebrations on crossing the One Lakh Customer mark. The four-week campaign was extended by one more week following overwhelming response from the customers. More than 5000 car customers participated in this campaign, which successfully ended on March 12, 2007.

Almost all brands of cars drove in to MyTVS outlets across Tamil Nadu. The TVS workshops, which were hitherto servicing only FIAT cars, also became part of MyTVS All Car Services (own) outlets from this campaign and serviced multi-brand cars. These outlets will continue to service multi-brand cars from now on.


As part of the campaign, customers could drive into any of the MyTVS All Car Services centers across Tamil Nadu for a free checkup, participate in a simple slogan contest and win prizes every week. Every week there was 1 first prize of TVS Scooty Pep, 2 second prizes of LG Microwave ovens and 3 third prizes of Motorola V3 mobile phone. A special prize was also selected on Women's Day (Mar 8th). All the winners received their prizes during the function today.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. R Srivatchan, President of MyTVS said, "Crossing the one lakh mark customer mark is truly a momentous occasion for us at MyTVS, and this service bonanza campaign was our way of saying thank you to our patrons.
