In what looked like a royal parade of the yesteryear beauties, the old and classic, brimming with style and grace took on Chennai-ites with a bang.

Chennai roads saw vintage cars roll in with all their splendour when owners of glamorous vintage cars proudly paraded their beauties at this rally, which began from Don Bosco School, Egmore, and traversed a 5-km route passing main thoroughfares of Chennai. This is the third edition of the "MyTVS Heritage Car Rally".

MyTVS, a brand that stands for 'Relationship and Trust' rightly associated itself with the Heritage car rally, which symbolizes a relationship between the car and its owner. The rally aimed at stressing the need for preserving and building passion for these cars as a sign of our traditional symbols.

This year's rally saw mesmerizing old beauties like Singer, Packard, Citreon, Buick, Vauxhall, Morris-8, Dodge, Austin, Studebaker and Plymouth take on the roads of the city. Here winning is not as important as the pride and joy of owning these vintage cars. Owners take great pride when their priced possession takes the central stage and becomes others envy. Interestingly, one notes that these beauties are still in peak running condition, and are also hired out for special occasions, rides, incentive parties, or marriages.

The rally was flagged off by Letika Saran, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Chennai. Shri M Saravanan, AVM Productions gave away the prizes to the winners. Mr. <name> - a renowned expert on Vintage cars from <place> chose the best among the heritage cars. The parameters for selection were many such as, quality of restoration, originality, the original color combination and all equipments in working condition etc. In addition to these vintage cars, vintage bikes were also exhibited during the event.

MyTVS was the sole sponsor for the event bringing together some of the pristine beauties on the roads of Chennai.

Mr. Srivatchan, Vice President, MyTVS, presented MyTVS Platinum membership cards to all guests of honor as a token of appreciation.
